The state of Hawaiʻi is modernizing the way residents access digital government services with the official launch of myHawaii, a secure, user-friendly citizen identity platform that enables a single login for a growing number of online government services.

As Hawaiʻi continues to expand its digital offerings, myHawaii empowers residents to engage with state and county services using one secure account, eliminating the need for multiple usernames and passwords.

“The state has many beneficial programs and applications available for our residents,” said Governor Josh Green, M.D. “Making it easier for people to login and use our services is a great way to increase accessibility and citizen participation.”

Developed under the Office of Enterprise Technology Services (ETS), a division of the Department of Accounting and General Services (DAGS), in collaboration with internet portal provider Tyler Hawaii, myHawaii offers a streamlined and consistent login experience across 96 agency applications—with more services to come.

This unified login is protected by advanced security features including multifactor authentication (MFA), real-time fraud detection, and industry-standard encryption. Future upgrades will include identity verification capabilities, enabling higher levels of assurance for services requiring greater trust and reducing the risk of fraud and unauthorized access.

In addition to improving user experience and data protection, myHawaii also enhances operational efficiency by centralizing identity management across state and county agencies. This shared service model reduces duplication, streamlines support, and improves scalability.

“More and more often residents are connecting to state government departments using their home computers to access services,” said state Comptroller Keith Regan. “We want to make that easy to do, but we must also make it secure; myHawaii does both.”

To ensure a seamless user experience, myHawaii customer support is easily available. Users can receive help via phone, chat, or email, making support accessible to everyone.

“MyHawaii represents our commitment to building a citizen-first digital experience,” said state Chief Information Officer Christine Sakuda. “It’s more than a login—it’s the first step toward a personalized and secure government experience for every Hawaiʻi resident.”

As part of a broader vision, myHawaii is the first phase in creating a personalized citizen portal where users can manage their interactions with the state in one place. Feedback and continuous improvement are also at the core of the initiative. MyHawaii underscores Hawaiʻi’s dedication to digital transformation, delivering secure, consistent, and user-focused services for residents statewide.
