The Office of Enterprise Technology Services is taking part in a free information technology careers series called “Tech Days of Spring 2023” presented by the University of Hawaiʻi and the Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii, March 21–April 6, 2023.

Tech Days is the result of many organizations collaborating to expand information technology career preparedness for Hawaiʻi high school and college students in an effort to grow a local, skilled talent pipeline for the thousands of in-demand, local IT jobs.

“The opportunities in IT related jobs at all skill levels has never been greater,” said Doug Murdock, Chief Information Office for the state. “These events will highlight some of the career opportunities we offer in a working environment that fosters learning and growing while helping to develop important projects that will have a positive impact in our state.”

Events will be held both in person and virtually. Event organizers hope to inspire students and showcase the exciting local career opportunities available in the tech industry.

On Friday, March 24, from 10 a.m.–1 p.m. ETS will participate in a virtual job fair allowing students to meet with our staff to discuss job openings.

ETS currently has several job openings including for a Business Data Analyst, Web Architect 1, SAP Security Manager, Compliance Analyst, and more.

Students can register for all Tech Days events at go.hawaii.edu/km3.
