Members of the Enterprise Financial System (EFS) Project Team were invited to be featured as guest speakers and panelists at the 2023 Hawaii Digital Government Summit on Sept. 25 at the Sheraton Waikiki. At this year’s Summit, EFS team members had the opportunity to share new updates surrounding the EFS Project, discuss statewide initiatives regarding the modernization of information technology (IT) and provide professional insight on other subjects of interest like the essentiality of organizational change management.

Executive leadership personnel and EFS team members provided remarks and participated in discussions pertaining to the following industry-related topics:

• Opening Remarks led by Douglas Murdock, Chief Information Officer of Enterprise Technology Services (ETS)
• Bits and Bytes – A Modernization Journey: The New Hawaii Enterprise Financial System (EFS) featuring Brian Frey, Enterprise Program Manager, ETS; and Greg Dalin, HIMOD Program Manager, ETS
• Real Talk About Change Management featuring panelists Douglas Murata, Organizational Change Manager, ETS; Dean Hazama, Deputy Director, Department of Commerce & Consumer Affairs; and Sherri Okinaga, Senior Vice President and Organizational Effectiveness Division Manager, First Hawaiian Bank
